About Us

We offer service and health advocacy

As the page develops we hope to function as a "junction station" from where you can proceed to other health websites that highlight activities of our different partners. Soon Links page will be operational and health and wholeness resources will be at your point and click. We do have fairly strict requirements for those to whom we link, in an effort to maintain a scientifically-supported, balanced approach.

We also wish to be a reference base for those who would like to learn more about Adventist health beliefs. For some information on that, check out the Christian Perspective page.

Our philosophy in this web page is to make available information that is useful to you and helpful in your lifestyle. We believe in a "ministry of healing" by which we can be more nearly made whole. Our concept of "whole" involves "the whole person": spiritual, physical, mental and social — as we cannot exist in isolation.

How are you incorporating spirituality into health?

Spirituality is a beautiful component of overall health. Having a relationship with God empowers people to make positive changes in their lives. If you're struggling with depression or hopelessness, it affects your activity level, your diet, and your overall wellbeing. Conversely, when your life includes healthy components such as rest, healthful foods, strong relationships, fresh air and exercise; you've cleared the way for spiritual growth. Alyeska Health Quest recognizes the undeniable connection of the mental, physical, and spiritual components of life.

“We are a part of a movement in history
much greater than ourselves… a movement of the Spirit, renewing and revitalizing human life.”

Achieving health impact through ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

To advocate best health practices with emphasis on preventive and holistic approach: body, mind and spirit.

To provide compassionate service and to carry out a healing ministry.

To contribute to the continuity of care and to improve the quality of life for those who are hurting and in need.

We also emphasize the prevention of diseases through simple lifestyle patterns that permit God’s restorative powers to work more effectively on our behalf, while in no way minimizing the effectiveness of proven therapy where disease has already manifested itself.
